Improve Your Well-being By Learning to De-stress, Not Distress.
Using evidence-based strategies you will learn practical skills to Manage your Stress and Build your Resilience.
You do not have to be “stressed out” or on the point of “burn out” to take part in this stress management workshop.
It is for those who want to boost their well-being by learning to reduce the pressure they put on themselves and to learn life skills to build their resilience preparing them to cope with the many challenges, life throws their way.
Starting with increasing your awareness to current stressors and your physical and psychological response; and the consequences of prolonged stress. You will learn techniques to calm your body and quieten your mind, techniques to diffuse negative thoughts to live in the present moment to stop ruminating about the past or worrying about the future and ways to get your voice heard without bullying others.
Whilst stress is a serious topic this workshop will be interactive and inclusive combined with humour and insights to my own experience with stress. You will not be forced to share any personal information; you disclose what you are comfortable with.
Complementary tea, coffee, water and biscuits will be provided.
